Yesterday was the laziest day yet… spent the day on the beach, read three magazines… (O, Forbes and Smithsonian – how is that for diversity!) Played bocci and wiffleball with the boys (my nephews) and had a few big boys join us. One “gentleman” played with us for a long while, till his wife sent their twin four year olds down to get him, gosh some grown men can blush!
In the afternoon was buried in the sand, managing to get sand EVERYWHERE!!! A quick swim out deep… slipping my suit off for a moment remedied that! Did i mention the water is only about 68F!
As part of a family deal every one picks dinner and makes it for the night. Last night was my brother-in-law grilled steaks! Nice wine, steaks… yummy… and more wine!! Then we walked down to the local ice cream parlour, and all had ice cream… then more wine! The ice cream parlour has been there since early 1900s, they make their own ice cream. Last night i had a double cone of Caramel Carabou!
Today… tough day… yet another beach day. have to go put on my bikini… breaking out the red one today!! that should annoy some wifeys in the afternoon wiffleball tournament!
