Today is the first day i am writing in my new blog! i have thought and thought… should i start with a bit of history or just start where i am… i decided to just start on today and fill in history as i go!
Today i am in Maine on vacation with my extended family. Limited internet access gives me a bit of alone time… not that i dont love my family, but seems like every sentence begins with “auntie katie will you buy me…”. Last night we walked to the pier, built in 1865, and then around the honky tonk amusement park. We settled on a great BBQ restaurant for dinner (i know BBQ is not very Maine like)… and watched the moon rise over the beach as gorged ourselves on cooked meat!
today is lovely beach day with no wind and the temp about 85. am going to lather on the sunscreen and put on my bikini (both parts) and meander down the beach. i promised the boys a game of wiffle ball!
